Sunbathing
Sunbathing
Possession may be 90% of the law
and staking an early claim
should mean something,
but she threw her weight
around.
I had no choice; of course,
I hissed and bared my
teeth. Undaunted, she
plopped her plump body
in the rectangular sun patch.
As any younger sibling
would do, I relinquished
the spot and left the bed
to find another, minus
sun, to claim as mine.
